Who We Are
The PMI Jordan Chapter (PMIJO), was established in 2003  as a local non-profit association in accordance to the Jordanian laws and regulations. PMIJO  is dedicated to advancing the project management profession in Jordan. In 2007, PMIJO forged a strategic partnership with the Project Management Institute (PMI).

PMIJO – Universities’ Students Outreach Initiative

The PMIJO Universities’ Students Outreach Initiative empowers university students in Jordan to understand the value of project management and its role in shaping future changemakers. Through awareness sessions, practical guidance, and professional engagement, the initiative inspires young people to build leadership skills, think creatively, and contribute positively to their communities.

It is a bridge between education and real-world impact — helping students grow, lead, and make a difference.

PMIJO – Data Collection Initiative

The PMIJO Data Collection Initiative aims to collect and update members’ information in line with the requirements of the Ministry of Social Development, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.

The initiative supports the official registration process by ensuring that members’ data is collected accurately, securely, and professionally.

PMIJO applies the Agile methodology through the Scrum framework to organize the work, improve collaboration, track progress, and complete the initiative efficiently.

PMIJO – Social Impact

PMIJO believes that project management is not only about delivering projects, but also about creating positive impact in the community.

Through its volunteers, PMIJO actively participates in several social and humanitarian initiatives across Jordan, including Tkiyet Um Ali, Sonaa Al Hayah, Mutanazah Zai, Himmetna Seha, and Waqf Thareed.

These activities reflect PMIJO’s commitment to giving back to society, supporting community-based initiatives, and encouraging volunteers to use their time, skills, and teamwork spirit to serve others and create meaningful change.
